Welcome to LeafLens – Houseplant Identifier Guide ("LeafLens", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). LeafLens is developed by BotaniCore Studio as a fully offline botanical reference and propagation companion application.
We take your privacy extremely seriously. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application.
LeafLens is built with a Privacy-First architecture.
No Account Creation: You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or social media profiles) to use the App.
No Server Transmission: We do not host any remote servers to collect your personal information. Everything you see, search, and calculate is done directly on your physical mobile device.
To ensure absolute security and maintain your trust, LeafLens operates without requesting any sensitive Android system permissions.
No Camera Permission Required: Unlike standard identification apps, LeafLens operates as a visual botanical guide and symptom wizard that does not require access to your device camera.
No Internet Access Required: The entire botanical database, grow log, and diagnostics toolset are packed offline. The App does not access the internet.
No Location Access: The App does not track or utilize your physical location or GPS coordinates.
All interactive features within the App are processed locally on your device:
Grow & Care Lab Logs: Any custom specimens, watering cycles, and nutrient feedings you log are stored strictly in your device's local application memory.
Propagation Chamber Data: Information about active cuttings (nodes, progress milestones, notes) remains on your hardware.
Preferences and Settings: Custom UI settings (such as Dark Mode toggle, reader font scaling, card sizes, and custom accent colors) are saved strictly inside local sandbox configurations.
Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored logs, custom plants, and application configuration choices. We have no way to recover this data for you as we never have access to it.
